CVE-2024-50176

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description: The issue is related to error handling in the Linux kernel, specifically in the remoteproc: k3-r5 module. When power-up fails, the driver was not handling the error correctly, leading to potential crashes. This could cause the first core to be available but not the second one, resulting in crashes during shutdown when trying to access the second instance.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
