CVE-2024-50181

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description: A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the clock source change for i.MX7D DRAM. The clock source change should only be done in low-level assembly code without accessing DRAM, and then calling the clk API to sync the HW clock status with the clk tree. The CLK SET PARENT GATE flag should not be added, as it can cause the DRAM's clock parent to be disabled when DRAM is active, resulting in a system hang.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
