Description:
The issue concerns a memory management vulnerability in the Linux kernel, specifically in the HID: amd sfh component. It has been resolved by switching to a device-managed version of dmam alloc coherent(), which simplifies cleanup in the probe() error path and ensures proper cleanup. This helps to resolve memory errors, page faults, btrfs going read-only, and btrfs disk corruption.
