Description: A memory leak has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the drm display mode from cea vic() function. This issue occurs when modprobe drm connector test and then rmmod drm connector test are executed, resulting in a memory leak. The mode allocated in drm mode duplicate() called by drm display mode from cea vic() is not freed, causing the memory leak. The backtrace of the issue is provided, showing the call stack that leads to the memory leak. To fix the issue, the mode should be freed using drm kunit display mode from cea vic().
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
