A spectre-related vulnerability has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the media: av7110 component. The issue was detected by smatch, a static analysis tool, which warned of a potential spectre issue in the
dvb ca ioctl() function, related to the av7110->ci slot variable. This vulnerability is related to the code in the drivers/staging/media/av7110/av7110 ca.c file.Recommendations:
