| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Colibri Page Builder plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.0.276
Description:
The Colibri Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's shortcode(s) due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations:
For versions up to, and including, 1.0.276, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's shortcode(s) to minimize the risk of exploitation. Additionally, restrict contributor-level access and above to trusted users only.
