Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 20.005.30539, 23.008.20470 and earlier
Description: The issue is related to a Use After Free vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. The vulnerability is associated with the use of memory after it has been freed when processing AcroForms, which may allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information.
Recommendations: For Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 20.005.30539, 23.008.20470 and earlier, consider disabling the processing of AcroForms as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to malicious files to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using Adobe Acrobat Reader to open untrusted or malicious files until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
