Description:
The issue is related to a use-after-free vulnerability when handling AcroForms in PDF files. This could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, such as opening a malicious file.
Recommendations:
For Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 20.005.30539, 23.008.20470 and earlier: Update to a version that is not affected by this issue.
For Adobe Acrobat 2020 and Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020: Update to a version that is not affected by this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of AcroForms in PDF files until a patch is available.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
