CVE-2024-5085

CVSS v3.1

9.8

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: The Hash Form – Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.1.0
Description: The issue is related to PHP Object Injection via deserialization of untrusted input in the process entry function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. Although no known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, the presence of one via an additional plugin or theme could enable attackers to delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code.
Recommendations: For versions up to, and including, 1.1.0, consider disabling the process entry function until a patch is available to prevent the deserialization of untrusted input. Restrict access to sensitive data and files to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using untrusted input in the process entry function to prevent PHP Object Injection. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
