CVE-2024-5092

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Elegant Addons for elementor plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.0.8
Description: The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's Switcher, Slider, and Iconbox widgets. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations: For versions up to, and including, 1.0.8, update to a version higher than 1.0.8 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Switcher, Slider, and Iconbox widgets until a patch is available.
