Description
The issue is related to Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation, also known as Cross-site Scripting (XSS), which allows Stored XSS. This means that an attacker can inject malicious scripts into the webpage, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data theft.
Recommendations
For versions 1.0.0 through 1.0.1, update to a version later than 1.0.1 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the AMP Img Shortcode functionality until a patch is available.
Restrict access to the vulnerable shortcode to minimize the risk of exploitation.
