CVE-2024-5170

CVSS v3.1

5.7

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:H/A:L
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Logo Manager For Enamad WordPress plugin versions 0.7.1 and earlier
Description The issue is related to the lack of sanitization and escaping in the widgets settings of the plugin, which could allow high privilege users, such as admins, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This is possible even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, for example, in a multisite setup.
Recommendations For versions 0.7.1 and earlier, update to a version that properly sanitizes and escapes user input in the widgets settings to prevent Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
