| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:M/C:N/I:C/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle Database Server versions 19.3 through 19.22
Oracle Database Server versions 21.3 through 21.13
Description
The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Unified Audit component of Oracle Database Server. Successful exploitation can result in unauthorized access to critical data, including creation, deletion, or modification of data within the Unified Audit accessible data.
Recommendations
For Oracle Database Server versions 19.3 through 19.22, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
For Oracle Database Server versions 21.3 through 21.13, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting network access via Oracle Net to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Restrict access to the Unified Audit component to minimize the risk of unauthorized data modification.
