Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Benefits Administration component. It allows a low-privileged attacker with logon access to the infrastructure where PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Benefits Administration executes to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and can result in unauthorized access to critical data, complete access to all accessible data, unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some data, and the ability to cause a partial denial of service.
Recommendations For PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Benefits Administration version 9.2, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Benefits Administration component to minimize the risk of exploitation. Additionally, ensure that all inputs are thoroughly validated to prevent unauthorized access or modifications. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
