Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A deadlock issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the scsi: ufs: core component. The problem occurs when
ufshcd rtc work calls ufshcd rpm put sync() and the pm's usage count is 0, causing the runtime suspend callback to wait and flush ufshcd rtc work, resulting in a deadlock. This issue can be resolved by replacing ufshcd rpm put sync() with ufshcd rpm put().Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
