Description
A NULL pointer dereference issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel. The issue occurs when
acpi evaluate object() returns AE NOT FOUND, which can lead to dereferencing a NULL pointer. Although this scenario may be unrealistic in the current code, the fix protects against potential bugs. The issue is related to the drm/amdgpu component and the buffer.pointer (obj) variable. This fix addresses a FORWARD NULL issue reported by Coverity.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
