Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the scsi: ufs: core, where the RTC update work involves runtime resuming the UFS controller. The issue was fixed by starting the RTC update work after runtime power management in the UFS driver has been fully initialized, preventing a kernel crash. The crash was characterized by an Internal error: Oops: 0000000096000006 [#1] PREEMPT SMP, with a call trace involving
raw spin lock irqsave, pm runtime get if active, ufshcd rtc work, and other functions.Recommendations
