CVE-2024-5329

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Unlimited Elements For Elementor plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.5.109
Description The issue is related to blind SQL Injection via the data[addonID] parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This allows authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.5.109, consider disabling the data[addonID] parameter until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the SQL query functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the data[addonID] parameter in the affected plugin until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
