I know that this issue with false positives for RHEL systems has already been addressed here in recent months. But since it is still going on, I was wondering if I could at least filter the results and exclude those false positivs.
For e.g. kernel issues, those false positivs start the vulnerability description with "In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:". Then the go on with the resolved issue.
Is there a way to filter for this sentence oder keywords like "resolved" to exclude those in the vulnerability report? I did not find a possibility in the filter editor for the "vulnerability.description" field.
Here some example CVEs which are listed as vulnerabilty and start with "In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:"
  • CVE-2024-53082
  • CVE-2024-53079
