Description:
The issue is related to the io uring subsystem in the Linux kernel, specifically with the function
io uring get file() in the module io uring/io uring.c. It is associated with a memory leak when passing io uring file descriptors through SCM RIGHTS messages in AF UNIX sockets. Exploitation of this issue could allow an attacker to cause a denial of service.Recommendations:
