| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Dell PowerScale OneFS versions 8.2.x through 9.7.0.2
Description:
The issue is related to the use of defective cryptographic algorithms in the PowerScale OneFS operating system. This could allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information, potentially leading to information disclosure. A remote unauthenticated attacker may exploit this issue.
Recommendations:
For versions 8.2.x through 9.7.0.2, update the system to a version that contains a fix for the use of broken or risky cryptographic algorithms to prevent information disclosure.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive information and monitoring for signs of compromise until a patch is available.
Fix
Use of a Broken Cryptographic Algorithm
