Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Zimbra Collaboration (ZCS) versions 9.0 through 10.1
Description
A Local File Inclusion (LFI) vulnerability exists in the "/h/rest" endpoint, allowing authenticated remote attackers to include and access sensitive files in the WebRoot directory. Exploitation requires a valid auth token and involves crafting a malicious request targeting specific file paths.
Recommendations
For Zimbra Collaboration (ZCS) versions 9.0 through 10.1, consider disabling access to the "/h/rest" endpoint until a patch is available. Restrict access to sensitive files in the WebRoot directory to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the endpoint for sensitive operations until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
