CVE-2024-5501

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Supreme Modules Lite – Divi Theme, Extra Theme and Divi Builder plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.5.51
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages via the button one id parameter. The injected scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.5.51, consider disabling the button one id parameter until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to pages that may have been injected with malicious scripts to minimize the risk of execution. Avoid using the button one id parameter in affected pages until the issue is resolved.
