Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, in that a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations
For Adobe Framemaker versions 2020.5, 2022.3 and earlier, upgrade the affected component to a newer version to mitigate the risk.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of potentially malicious files until a patch is available.
Restrict access to sensitive information to minimize the risk of exploitation.
