Description The issue is related to an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. This vulnerability is also described as a buffer overflow in memory, which can allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For versions 24.0.2 and 23.0.5, update to a version that fixes the out-of-bounds write vulnerability. For versions earlier than 23.0.5, update to a version that fixes the out-of-bounds write vulnerability. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
