Description
The issue is related to a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the SetNetworkTomographySettings module of the D-Link DIR-822+ wireless router's firmware. This vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For D-Link DIR-822+ version 1.0.5, update the firmware to a version that fixes the stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the SetNetworkTomographySettings module.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
