Description
A null pointer dereference issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically with the ftrace module command in stack trace filter. This issue occurs when executing the command
# echo "write*:mod:ext3" > /sys/kernel/tracing/stack trace filter, causing a kernel crash. Although a commit has addressed part of the issue, a corner case remains unhandled, resulting in the kernel crash.Recommendations
