Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A memory allocation failure check has been added to the Linux kernel media to prevent a potential issue. In the
ia css 3a statistics allocate() function, there was no check on the allocation result of the rgby data memory. If rgby data is not successfully allocated, it may trigger the assert(host stats->rgby data) assertion in ia css s3a hmem decode(). This issue has been resolved by adding a check.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
