Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to the Linux kernel, where a vulnerability has been resolved. The problem occurs when the nfs common holds the RCU while calling nfsd file put local. To fix this, the RCU holding has been moved from nfs to nfsd file put local to nfs to nfsd net put. This change resolves the issue of a voluntary context switch within the RCU read-side critical section. The fix also addresses an issue with xfstests generic/013.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
