CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A refcount handling flaw has been identified in the Linux kernel's DLM recovery mechanism. Specifically, if dlm recover members() fails, the references of the previously created root list are not dropped, keeping all rsbs alive during the recovery. This issue may occur when ping members() encounters an -EINTR error if another recovery progress is triggered again.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
