Description: The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the link parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with Author-level access and above, and with post permissions granted by an Administrator, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations: For versions up to, and including, 7.7, consider disabling the link parameter in the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to pages that may have been injected with malicious scripts to minimize the risk of execution.
