CVE-2024-5756

CVSS v3.1

9.8

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Email Subscribers by Icegram Express – Email Marketing, Newsletters, Automation for WordPress & WooCommerce plugin versions up to, and including, 5.7.23
Description: The issue is related to time-based SQL Injection via the db parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This allows unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries, which can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations: For versions up to, and including, 5.7.23, update to a version that fixes the SQL Injection issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the db parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
