VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Scylla lite theme for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.8.3
Description: The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the url parameter within the theme's Button shortcode, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations: For Scylla lite theme for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.8.3, update to a version higher than 1.8.3 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Button shortcode or disabling it until a patch is available.
