| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:L |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
The Cliengo – Chatbot plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.0.1
Description:
The issue arises from a missing capability check on the
update chatbot token and update chatbot position functions, allowing unauthorized modification of data. This enables unauthenticated attackers to alter chatbot settings, potentially leading to unavailability or other changes to the chatbot.Recommendations:
For versions up to, and including, 3.0.1, consider disabling the
update chatbot token and update chatbot position functions as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to these functions to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Missing Authorization
