CVE-2024-6166

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: The Unlimited Elements For Elementor plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.5.112
Description: The issue is related to time-based SQL Injection via the addons order parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This allows authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above and granted plugin setting edit permissions by an administrator, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations: For versions up to, and including, 1.5.112, consider disabling the addons order parameter until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the plugin's setting edit permissions to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the addons order parameter in the affected plugin until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
