CVE-2024-6353

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Wallet for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.5.4
Description The issue allows authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to perform SQL Injection via the search[value] parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This enables attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries, potentially extracting sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.5.4, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue to prevent SQL Injection attacks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the search[value] parameter in the affected API endpoint until a patch is available.
