Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Image Optimizer, Resizer and CDN – Sirv plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 7.2.7

Description The issue allows authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to modify plugin settings due to missing capability checks on the plugin functions. This enables them to change the connected Sirv account to an attacker-controlled one.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 7.2.7, update to a version higher than 7.2.7 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin settings to prevent unauthorized modifications until a patch is available.
