VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions GitLab versions 17.1 through 17.1.7 GitLab versions 17.2 prior to 17.2.5 GitLab versions 17.3 prior to 17.3.2
Description A crafted URL could be used to trick a victim into trusting an attacker-controlled application. This issue affects GitLab, allowing potential exploitation through specially made URLs.
Recommendations For GitLab versions 17.1 through 17.1.7, update to a version after 17.1.7 to resolve the issue. For GitLab versions 17.2 prior to 17.2.5, update to version 17.2.5 or later to resolve the issue. For GitLab versions 17.3 prior to 17.3.2, update to version 17.3.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to URLs that could be used to trick victims into trusting attacker-controlled applications until a patch is available.
