CVSS v3.1
5.3
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Admin Trim Interface plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.5.1
Description
The issue is related to Full Path Disclosure, which occurs because the plugin utilizes bootstrap and leaves test files with display errors on. This allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the full path of the web application, potentially aiding other attacks. However, the information displayed is not useful on its own and requires another vulnerability to be present for damage to an affected website.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 3.5.1, update to a version later than 3.5.1 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the display errors option in the test files to minimize the risk of exploitation.
