CVE-2024-6546

CVSS v3.1

5.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions One Click Close Comments plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 2.7.1
Description The issue is related to Full Path Disclosure, which occurs because the plugin uses bootstrap and leaves test files with display errors on. This allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the full path of the web application, potentially aiding other attacks. However, the disclosed information is not useful on its own and requires another vulnerability to be present to cause damage to an affected website.
Recommendations For One Click Close Comments plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 2.7.1, update to a version later than 2.7.1 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the display errors feature in the plugin's test files to minimize the risk of exploitation.
