Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Campaign Monitor for WordPress plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.8.15
Description
The issue is due to the plugin not properly restricting direct access to "/forms/views/admin/create.php" and
display errors being enabled. This allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the full path of the web application, which can aid other attacks. The information displayed is not useful on its own and requires another vulnerability to be present for damage to an affected website.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 2.8.15, consider disabling direct access to the "/forms/views/admin/create.php" endpoint until a patch is available. Additionally, disabling
display errors can help minimize the risk of exploitation.Fix
