Description A vulnerability has been identified that allows an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process by exploiting an out of bounds read past the end of an allocated structure while parsing specially crafted IGS files. This issue is related to a buffer overflow in memory when using the Parasolid Translator tool for converting files between PS/IGES formats.

Recommendations For versions prior to V2406, update to version V2406 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of specially crafted IGS files until a patch is applied. Restrict access to the IGS file parsing functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation.
