CVE-2024-6666

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WP ERP plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.13.0
Description The issue is related to SQL Injection via the vendor id parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This allows authenticated attackers, with Accounting Manager access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries, which can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.13.0, consider disabling access to the vendor id parameter until a patch is available. Restrict access to the SQL query functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, limit the privileges of users with Accounting Manager access and above to reduce the potential impact of the issue.
