Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via file uploads due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This affects the "boldgrid canvas image" AJAX endpoint, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses the SVG file.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.26.6, update to a version higher than 1.26.6 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "boldgrid canvas image" AJAX endpoint until a patch is available.
