VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions JetSearch plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.5.2
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the id parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 3.5.2, update to a version later than 3.5.2 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the id parameter in the affected plugin to minimize the risk of exploitation.
