CVE-2024-7485

CVSS v3.1

7.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Traffic Manager plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.4.5
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the page parameter of the UserWebStat AJAX function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, which will execute when a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.4.5, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the UserWebStat AJAX function. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the UserWebStat AJAX function until a patch is available. Avoid using the page parameter in the affected AJAX function until the issue is resolved.
