CVE-2024-7702

CVSS v3.1

7.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Contact Form by Bit Form: Multi Step Form, Calculation Contact Form, Payment Contact Form & Custom Contact Form builder plugin for WordPress versions 2.0 through 2.13.9
Description The issue is related to generic SQL Injection via the entryID parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries to already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For versions 2.0 through 2.13.9, consider disabling the entryID parameter until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the database to minimize the risk of sensitive information extraction. Avoid using the entryID parameter in existing queries until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
