Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions 123.chat - Video Chat plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.3.1
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.3.1, update to a version later than 1.3.1 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's functionality until a patch is available. Additionally, ensure proper input validation and output escaping to prevent similar issues in the future.
