CVSS v3.1

7.3

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: The FOX – Currency Switcher Professional for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.4.2.1
Description: The issue is related to arbitrary shortcode execution due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do shortcode in the woocs get custom price html function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes.
Recommendations: For versions up to, and including, 1.4.2.1, consider disabling the woocs get custom price html function until a patch is available to prevent arbitrary shortcode execution. Restrict access to the plugin's functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the plugin until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
