| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
The Checkout Field Editor (Checkout Manager) for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.0.3
Description:
The issue is related to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the
render review request notice function due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.Recommendations:
For versions up to, and including, 2.0.3, update to a patched version as soon as possible to prevent potential site compromise.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
render review request notice function until a patch is available.Fix
